God’s vision for Western Reserve is that the spiritually restless would become wholehearted followers of Jesus- so we’re about engaging people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, so that people far from God will be filled with life in Christ. Everyone can contribute to that vision… and that includes you.

“Reserve Teams” represent the church on mission- both internal and external.  On mission internal refers simply to serving inside the doors of our building, engaging people who are checking things out- and on mission external refers to the church on mission outside of our doors.

God is changing lives every week at Western Reserve, and behind every changed life are the faces of our Reserve Teams. Whether it’s helping guests find a great parking spot, holding an infant, serving the homeless in downtown Cleveland, operating stage lights or anything in between, our Reserve Teams are on the front lines of mission. There is simply no greater joy than to know you are used by God in a way that makes an eternal impact on others. Go ahead and jump into Reserve Teams and become a part of what God is doing through Western Reserve. It’s a decision you won’t regret.

Administration

If you enjoy behind-the-scenes roles, this is the perfect fit for you. All administration opportunities are during the week at the church office, helping staff with administrative tasks and projects as they arise.

Campus Support

If you enjoy assisting with operations, then Campus Support is for you. This group of Reserve Team members assists in the weekend operations at WR, and ensure the campus is running smoothly. Some roles include; connections (help others get plugged into WR), Cafe, Safe & Secure Team, and Reserve Team Headquarters (provide refreshments to your fellow Reserve Team members).  Campus support also includes things that can be done throughout the week, like maintenance and handyman work.

Reserve Kids/Reserve Students

If you are passionate about seeing future generations filled with life in Christ, then Reserve Kids and Reserve Students is just the place for you! Roles range from behind-the-scenes opportunities to interacting directly with children/students and teaching them about Jesus.

Guest Services

If you love people, Guest Services is the place to be. As a Guest Services Reserve Team member, you have the opportunity to greet guests, help guests find parking spots, help guests find their seats, or welcome first time guests. If praying is one of your spiritual gifts, you could join an on-campus Prayer Team.

Production/Creative

If you like the thought of having hands-on responsibilities, Production is what you’re looking for. Production Reserve Team members help create smooth-running Worship Experiences. Production offers both technical and non-technical opportunities. No experience is necessary.  Creative includes graphic design/branding as well as the printing/cutting/distribution of resources.  For design a knowledge in AI, PS CS5 as well as Final Cut is required, but helping positions in creative can be filled without previous experience.

Community Service

We’re always looking to serve the community here.  Small Groups do service projects once each quarter, and there are additional ways to serve- homeless in downtown Cleveland, plus more local opportunities- right now we’re doing a food drive for local families in the Twinsburg area.
