NEXT is the young adult community of Western Reserve and we understand that people come from a variety of backgrounds, systems of beliefs and experiences. It is our desire to be a place where people of all walks of life can come and ask difficult questions, build relationships with their peers, and discover the God who created them. We are not a perfect group so we acknowledge that we will not always get those things right. But, we hope in spite of our shortcomings that we can still assist you on your journey. After reading the sections below, if you still have any questions please shoot us an email and we will do our best to help. Thanks for visiting us online and we look forward to meeting you in person!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL NIGHT LOOK LIKE?
Most nights will be discussion oriented in nature. Each night will have a specific topic or passage that we will cover and the leader will guide us through a biblically centered discussion of that topic. We encourage asking the hard questions and think verbally discussing ideas with your peers is an important part of spiritual growth (even for those who are more introverted who simply want to listen to others discuss).
WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU MEET?
We meet on Thursday nights in the café of Western Reserve Grace Church starting January 10th and ending on April 11th.
WHO NORMALLY ATTENDS?
NEXT is designed specifically for and with young adults in mind, which we deem to be roughly 18yrs-29yrs. NEXT is open to people of all walks of life and you will find a wide variety of people who attend. We have faithful followers of Jesus, atheists, and everyone in-between. All NEXT events are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Jesus regardless of their current beliefs.
