ABOUT PASTOR JASON

Pastor Jason grew up in Dayton, Ohio.  He attended Grace College, where he discovered God’s plan for his life- the vision for a church that would be the most influential organization in its community- people who are authentic and on mission.

Jason was hired on staff at Western Reserve in 1996 originally as the Pastor of Students.  In 2000 he became the Lead Pastor.  Under his leadership God has done unbelievable things!  In the last four years alone, we’ve seen approximately 250 people make decisions for Christ, over 100 baptized, and average attendance go from just over 100 to just under 700.  There are countless stories of changed lives- this is our legitimacy; it’s what we’re about.

Pastor Jason’s heart is for people far from God.  Western Reserve recently opened a state-of-the-art 14,000 sq. ft. addition with a gym, auditorium, and children’s facility.  The vision and heart was to be a “building for the community that we get to use.”  The heart is to reach out, to give, to make a difference.  To “walk toward people, not away.”

Pastor Jason holds a B.A. in Business/Psychology from Grace College, and a M.A. in Ministry from Grace Theological Seminary.

Pastor Jason LOVES his family- his lovely wife Marcie, son Caleb (14), and daughter Emily (10).  They live in Macedonia.
