NEXT is Western Reserve’s young adult community. We understand that people come from different backgrounds, belief systems, and experiences. It’s our desire to be a place where people from all walks of life can come ask difficult questions, build relationships, and discover the God who created them. We are not a perfect group. We acknowledge that we won’t always get everything right. We hope in spite of our shortcomings that we can still assist you on your journey. If after reading the sections below you still have questions, please send us an email and we will do our best to help. Thank you for visiting us online – we look forward to meeting you in person!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL NIGHT LOOK LIKE?
Most nights will be discussion oriented. Each night will have a specific topic or passage that we will cover. One of the leaders will guide us through a biblically centered discussion of that topic. We encourage asking hard questions and think that verbally discussing ideas with your peers is an important part of spiritual growth – even for those who are more introverted who simply want to listen to others discuss.
WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU MEET?
We meet on Thursday nights from 7-8:30pm in the café of Western Reserve Grace Church starting January 10th and ending on April 11th.
WHO NORMALLY ATTENDS?
NEXT is designed specifically for and with young adults in mind, which we deem to be roughly 18yrs-29yrs. NEXT is open to people of all walks of life and you will find a wide variety of people who attend. We have faithful followers of Jesus, atheists, and everyone in-between. All NEXT events are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Jesus regardless of their current beliefs.
