Debbie Justus joined the staff of Western Reserve as Director of Children’s Ministries in January of 2010. She has spent much of her life with kids in a variety of ways. She graduated from The Ohio State University and married her wonderful husband, Doug. Debbie taught for six years in a middle school before taking time off to start a family. After moving from Columbus to Twinsburg in 2002, Debbie went back to the classroom and taught middle school English and Bible class. The move to Northeast Ohio also had the Justus family searching for a church home. The search stopped and the adventure began the moment they walked through the doors at Western Reserve. While she was still teaching, Debbie volunteered in the Children’s area at Western Reserve and loved it. Life hasn’t been the same for Debbie, Doug, and their sons, Daniel and David since coming to Western Reserve. Today, Debbie absolutely loves her job, and she feels there is nothing more important than helping the kids have fun as they learn that Jesus is with them every step of the way.

Deb has an affinity for Bruce Springsteen. We’re still trying to talk Doug into playing guitar with a sleeveless flannel shirt on stage. Someday. Hey, he was born to run. And he’s tougher than the rest. Okay, that’s enough.
